Solar Submersible Pond & Fountain Pump Kit 1800 L/h – 40W Panel
The standout number on this kit is the head height. At 3.5 m of lift it pushes water higher than the larger-flow solar pumps in the range, which makes it the one to choose when the nozzle has to sit well above the water line — a raised bowl, a tiered feature, or a plume you actually want to notice.
How it goes together
A 40 W panel drives the pump directly, so there is no wiring to a plug point and no running cost. Position the panel for open sky, submerge the pump, and fit one of the three supplied nozzles to the extender pipe. Flow peaks at 1800 litres per hour.

In the box
- 18 V DC submersible pump, 20 W
- 40 W solar panel
- Three fountain nozzles with extender pipes
Keeping it alive
The foam filter on the pump base has to stay clean. A clogged filter starves the pump and burns the motor out, and it is by far the most common failure on kits like this. Rinse it weekly in a pond with fish or leaf fall. The pump must also never be allowed to run dry.
Worth knowing before you order
- Daylight only. No battery is included, so the fountain slows as the light drops and stops after dark.
- No flow control on this model. Output rises and falls with the sun. If you want to be able to throttle the fountain back, the 2000 L/h kit has adjustable flow.
