Solar Submersible Pond & Fountain Pump Kit 2000 L/h – 35W Panel
What sets this kit apart from the smaller solar sets is the flow control — you can dial the fountain back rather than accepting whatever the panel happens to deliver. A single 35 W panel drives the pump directly, so there is no plug point to run out to the pond and no monthly cost to operate it.
How it goes together
Site the panel where it has open sky, drop the pump into the water, and fit one of the two supplied nozzles to the extender pipe. Output peaks at 2000 litres per hour and lifts to 2.7 m at shut-off, which is enough for a clearly visible plume on a small to mid-sized ornamental pond.

Keeping it alive
The pump sits on a base fitted with a removable sponge filter, and that sponge is the single most common reason these pumps fail. Once it clogs the pump starves and the motor overheats. Rinse it weekly if you have fish or leaf fall, fortnightly otherwise. The pump also must never be run dry.
Worth knowing before you order
- Daylight only. There is no battery, so the fountain slows as the light drops and stops after dark.
- The 12.5 mm outlet is small. It suits the supplied nozzles well, but it is not the pump to pick if you are feeding a wide waterfall lip.
