This Blue Coarse Filter Mat (1000x1000x40mm) for fish ponds is made from superior material to support a strong bacteria culture capacity and mechanical filtration (pre-filtering out most coarse solid waste)

  • The mat offers a large specific area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to establish their colonies. 
  • This mat can also be used as a mechanical pre-filter to filter out most coarse solids coming from the fish pond. You can add a Finer Filter mat underneath the Blue Coarse Filter mat, to further filter out the finer fish waste particles.
  • The pond mat also offers excellent water permeability. Even when multiple mats are stacked on one another, it will not affect water circulation.
  • Due to its high quality fibres, the mat retains its shape and rigidity for a longer service life. You can cut it to whatever size you wish.
