Returns & Refund Policy
If you received an incorrect or defective item as a result of our error, we'll pay the return shipping costs (South Africa only) and replace the defective item, or give you a refund based on our investigations. All goods being returned must be in their original packaging.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you have ordered the incorrect product or products that do not meet your requirements, you have 3 working days from receipt of goods to request a refund (via email sales@myaquaponics.co.za). We will only refund goods that are returned in their original sealed packaging. We charge a 15% refund fee on the total cost of the goods being returned, subject to inspection of the goods. In addition, if payment was made by credit card or a third party payment processing company, a 2.9% fee will be added. Please make sure that you order the correct products for your need or application. The return shipping costs are for your account. You may also request a refund on goods that have not yet shipped. If the reason is not due to delays from our side, a 5% refund fee will apply on the total cost of the goods requiring a refund.

Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in South Africa using 3rd party couriers at extra cost. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be air freighted.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram.
If the total weight for the order is 30Kg, the system will prompt you to contact us for a manual quote.
