Biochar has been used for centuries to enrich soils by capturing nutrients and then slowly releasing them over time. Plant growth in soil or other media mixed with biochar will give you quicker and enhanced plant growth.

You can use it in the form below for water purification or as bio filter media, or you can crush it to mix in with soil or any hydroponic media such as cocopeat, perlite, etc

Some of the benefits of biochar are listed below:

Improvement of soil fertility

The presence of biochar, or carbon content, helps these microbes flourish and works as a soil conditioner. It stores fertilizer and water around your root system.

Increase in crop yields

Attracts nutrients and then stores them, meaning they are available to plants when they need them. Absorbs Nutrients up to 7 times, the BioChar is biodegradable and will break down within 3 to 5 years.

Better water retention and drainage
Biochar's porous structure means it retains water and, so_ improves soil's ability to hold moisture. It also Helps with Drainage_

Reduction of soil acidity
Helps balance PH levels by absorbing acidity in the soil.

Absorption of soil pollutants
Biochar can also potentially repair soils that have been contaminated with toxic heavy metals.

Increase in plant disease resistance
There is growing evidence to suggest that biochar has a role to play in improving plant resistance to some pathogens.

Catching and storing carbon
Biochar captures carbon and fixes it in the soil. It is also highly stable and will stay in your soil for the long-term

Minimum pore surface of 400m2/g

Very big surface area making it a great bio filter media and water purifier

BioChar when activated with worm tea provides convenient food for microbes.
Provides a slow-release of nutrients for crops and plants.
